Very peculiar that TS Gopal Sri Ram is prosecuting DS Ahmad Zahid’s case. As far as the public is aware, Ram’s appointment as Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) is only for 1MDB related matters. None of the charges today against DS Ahmad Zahid have anything to do with 1MDB. Therefore, TS Ram’s prosecution today is unconstitutional and a breach of ethics as he is practicing (or moonlighting) as a DPP without valid authority.
Either Tommy Thomas is running his outfit like a tomyam shop or TS Gopal is walking all over him. AGC press statement in August about TS Gopal Sri Ram's role, can be read here. Why not we replace Tommy Thomas with TS Gopal Sri Ram as Attorney General. What Tommy Thomas has done so far was only dropped charges against accused that pro Pakatan Harapan.
